Just for a quick update. I’m shooting most of the events over Rag Week at DkIT. This’ll include most of the gigs and bands which is right up my street.
I hope to post all the images here, my Facebook page and email them to the SU vice president so he can stick them on the SU site but be sure keep an eye out on my flickr aswell.
I just bought a new lens for my camera online.
Nikon f1.8 50mm
So, yay! It’s a Nikon f1.8 50mm lens so I can finally take some decent shots in low light situations. Can’t wait to get it and get some use out of it.

AutoDesk has made a cool piece of plastic that displays 3d models, in 3d. Hard to explain but it’s a ruddy good show!
A short Composition that I had to do for College. I had to incorporate some elements of an animation I made, original footage I shot, found video and music in whatever way I could. It was my first time doing anything apart from chopping up clips in Final Cut Express so don’t judge to harshly. Oh, and it was done ages ago.
Just follow this guy’s advice and you’ll be sure you get your digital camera back if it has been misplaced.

Red, a nice little short animation I came across just there. It’s like Little Red Riding Hood but not. Super cool though.

This is definitely one of the coolest and most useful examples of augmented reality I’ve seen. It allows you to go through some of the features of the camera, taking photos of yourself, videos and photo effects. It’s just cool.
