I dunno if people know or not but there is a really cool Firefox add-on available which makes blogging and absolute cinch. It’s called ScribeFire and it’s home is on the bottom bar of the Firefox window. Simply click it to bring up a window and then you can simply drag images, text and link from a site that you are currently viewing to the ScribeFire window. It just makes adding images and stuff so easy.

Below is a collection of my favourite shots that I’ve taken and processed over the past week or so. Some of them are earlier than March but that would have just led to an unattractive title then, wouldn’t it?

Seeing as I’m taking more Photographs than ever before, I’ve decided that I’m going to have a dedicated Photography section on the site. It’s not going to be just a category like it is now. I’m thinking a way to display the images. There are a few WordPress plugins available to do such a job (eg) but I’ll explore other options and decide again.
Toodles!
I just googled myself (as you do) and a “seansmyth” gets my blog in the number 1 spot and “sean smyth” yields number 7.
If I google “sean smyth” and add any of the tags I’ve added to any of my posts over the years I get number one aswell.
Now all I have to do is wait until I’m famous, when people might actually google my name instead of just following a direct link.

This is only good news. Currently, I have to “borrow” my housemates Windows machines to indulge in id’s Quake Live but with the news that Mac and Linux compatibility is high on the company’s priority list that is soon be a thing of the past. I can’t wait. I hate the fact that I have to borrow a machine to play of reboot and boot into Windows using Bootcamp if I want to play.
A full interview can be read here at Joystiq. I’ll be up for pwning all you noobs if you are up for it. My username is imLOST (I was going to add a link to my online profile but I don’t think I can.) So add me if you want. I love a good duel, I do.
I found this on an Irish Bloggers Award winner The National Lottie. I laughed out loud, I actually did. I didn’t lol though because that’s just plain silly.
Dear Wii Fit,
I did not take it personally when you said I was slightly overweight. I admit, I was impressed that you could weigh me so accurately.
I did not get mad when you stopped mid push up to announce that I had taken a break. I mean I had, after all, rolled over on my side to die.
I was a good sport, I think. I didn’t cuss you out for inflating my Mii (the cartoon replica of me) to scale or call the personal trainer names or blame you for the nagging inner ear issue I developed immediately after finishing your yoga exercises.
No. Not at all.
I respected and even appreciated what you were trying to do for me.
And then
You met
My husband.
And you?
Are clearly a home wrecking tramp.
32? 32?!?! Really?!? You calculated his fitness age at 32- and mine at 65?!?
Sixty fucking five???
Yeah. Right. He’s 30 years more fit than me. You dirty, dirty whore.
I should have bought a playstation.
UPDATE:
This morning you said I was 24. Really, Wii Fit? Really? You expect me to believe that I lost 40 years in my sleep? Correction – 40 years and 1.5 lbs?
This is obviously part of your plan to distract me from your devious nature.
I’m on to you.
(I will, however, only be using you in the morning from now on. I mean. You know. Just in case.)
Twitter. It’s a micro blogging platform, we all know that. Actually it’s thee micro blogging platform. Anyway, now that I’m social networked more than ever (bebo, facebook, twitter and to some extent, this blog) (that link was totally unnecessary :p) I thought I’d revisit a site that I joined up to ages ago but found little need to use.
Ping.fm allows me to update a text field and it posts what I wrote to bebo, facebook, twitter all that the same time.
How awesome it that?! Thanks to Thomas Geraghty for the original shout out about this service.
So I joined twitter and now that I’ve done that and searched my Gmail contacts lists for other Twitterers (is that right?), I’m stumped. I’ve found not one of my contacts using Twitter. So what do I do now? How do I find people beyond the creator of the site to follow? What do I do?
If, for some reason, you’d like to follow me though I’m here.
It’s a slow night. I’m bored and I’m half watching The Late Late Show (oh noes!). I’ve made a few web pages and sites over the past year or so just to practice and I find it somewhat fun to make ‘em and so I’ve decided to share them will you. Now, I’m well aware that they aren’t fantastic but sure feck it, why not?
DKIT Campus
This was the first website I ever made. It was an assignment in my first year in college and we were only taught to use tables for laying out so yeah, it’s kinda crummy. Link.
DKITv
This was my second website ever and this was a final project for a Web Authoring class in first year of college. Again, we still hadn’t moved on to table-less layouts just yet. I’m actually quiet happy with how this turned out surprisingly although the nav bar could be better in that it currently has no alternate text. Anywho…. Link.
Sausage Batter
This one was just something I did after watching a PSD to HTML video on NETTUTS and was inspired to give it a whirl myself. CSS for layout this time but it’s a bit dodge and only displays properly in Firefox or Flock or some variation of Mozilla‘s Firefox. Link.
Orange Jooce
I made this one after watching the second video on NETTUTS. Again, it only displays properly in Firefox or a variation thereof. I must sort out my CSS skills so other Browsers don’t get confused…. Link.
Any comments or anything?
