Hey all, hopefully someone can help me.
I’ve a blog for a project I’m working on and I’ve a Facebook Page for the same. I’ve no problem displaying the blog posts on the FaceBook page’s wall, it’s the next step that’s gettin’ me.
I want the fans of my FB page to be able to see the latest update on their home wall’s. It’s nothing new. Lamebook.com and Komplett.ie both do it but I don’t see how they are doing it either.
Google didn’t yield anything for me and it’s something that’d be very handy.
Thanks, Sean
I just googled myself (as you do) and a “seansmyth” gets my blog in the number 1 spot and “sean smyth” yields number 7.
If I google “sean smyth” and add any of the tags I’ve added to any of my posts over the years I get number one aswell.
Now all I have to do is wait until I’m famous, when people might actually google my name instead of just following a direct link.
Here I am. I’ve upgraded and I can now post comments from the dashboard. A kinda cool feature but I don’t see myself using it all that much, unless for a quick almost micro blog or something.
I found this on an Irish Bloggers Award winner The National Lottie. I laughed out loud, I actually did. I didn’t lol though because that’s just plain silly.
Dear Wii Fit,
I did not take it personally when you said I was slightly overweight. I admit, I was impressed that you could weigh me so accurately.
I did not get mad when you stopped mid push up to announce that I had taken a break. I mean I had, after all, rolled over on my side to die.
I was a good sport, I think. I didn’t cuss you out for inflating my Mii (the cartoon replica of me) to scale or call the personal trainer names or blame you for the nagging inner ear issue I developed immediately after finishing your yoga exercises.
No. Not at all.
I respected and even appreciated what you were trying to do for me.
And then
You met
My husband.
And you?
Are clearly a home wrecking tramp.
32? 32?!?! Really?!? You calculated his fitness age at 32- and mine at 65?!?
Sixty fucking five???
Yeah. Right. He’s 30 years more fit than me. You dirty, dirty whore.
I should have bought a playstation.
UPDATE:
This morning you said I was 24. Really, Wii Fit? Really? You expect me to believe that I lost 40 years in my sleep? Correction – 40 years and 1.5 lbs?
This is obviously part of your plan to distract me from your devious nature.
I’m on to you.
(I will, however, only be using you in the morning from now on. I mean. You know. Just in case.)
…. all my notes for college. Finally, after what, a month of being back? God I’m crap at this. But I’m gonna stick to it this time now that I have a folder for each subject. I’m gonna stick to it just like I stick with updating this blog almost daily. I’ve done a pretty good job with that so far so I’m gonna do amazingly well with the college notes.
Oh, I’ve got a flash animation due pretty soon which will be up when it’s ready. Also, that photo gallery that I mentioned somewhere below. It’s due on Monday so expect an upload of that.
Twitter. It’s a micro blogging platform, we all know that. Actually it’s thee micro blogging platform. Anyway, now that I’m social networked more than ever (bebo, facebook, twitter and to some extent, this blog) (that link was totally unnecessary :p) I thought I’d revisit a site that I joined up to ages ago but found little need to use.
Ping.fm allows me to update a text field and it posts what I wrote to bebo, facebook, twitter all that the same time.
How awesome it that?! Thanks to Thomas Geraghty for the original shout out about this service.
So I joined twitter and now that I’ve done that and searched my Gmail contacts lists for other Twitterers (is that right?), I’m stumped. I’ve found not one of my contacts using Twitter. So what do I do now? How do I find people beyond the creator of the site to follow? What do I do?
If, for some reason, you’d like to follow me though I’m here.
Rick O' Shea's mug
It’s not often that I come across blogs that grab my interest and hold me there for a good 10 minutes but it just happened. Rick O’ Shea‘s (radio DJ on RTE’s 2FM) blog over at Blogspot isn’t about anything in particular which is awesome. It’s content is varied and about anything and everything. I hastily BlogRolled and added it to my RSS feeder.
I lolled when he discovered this blog about Rick-rolling students and you can read his post about it here. I’m sure that I’m well behind when it comes to “discovering” the blog but feck off, I don’t care.
