A short video I made as part of a college assignment. The assignment was titled “Creative Self” and the brief was very broad and open to anything and everything.
I chose to do a stop motion animation using lego. I think it works quite nicely and I’d be interested to hear what you guys think! 
I did a photoshoot with the Dundalk based band “Boy Lights Fire” recently. They were after some simple enough shots that they could stick on their mySpace and whatever else tickled their fancy.

A promotional/information flyer that I created for the music department at Dundalk IT. Though it went through a fair few revisions and tweaks, I’m happy enough with how it turned out. It’s a double sided A4 page that’s folded in 3 sections.

We were asked to physically design a portable media player for a Human Computer Interactions module in the Creative Media course.
Unfortunately, I didn’t take any photos of the physical finished product, I can show you the walk through of how the player works on screen.
Flourish is by far the biggest project I’ve worked on. It’s the joint efforts of 4 students who produced Flourish over several months. It was our Final Project in my our 3rd year of the course and my roles was programming.

This was an assignment that we had to to for a programming module on the Creative Media course about a year ago.
The user is allowed to click on the screen 6 times and place “x”‘s where clicked. When the 6th “x” was placed, they are all removed and then a marker moved from point to point in the order they were clicked and this is to go on a loop until the user clicked reset.
The Background is white so you can’t see it but click in the white space just below this text.
A simple Exam Grade Calculator that tells you whether you got a Fail, Pass, High Pass (Merit) or a Distinction in an Exam. It’s one of my first programming assignments.

A short piece that myself (@sean_smyth) and Patrick (@NeverMonkey) worked on for college.
A short Composition that I had to do for College. I had to incorporate some elements of an animation I made, original footage I shot, found video and music in whatever way I could. It was my first time doing anything apart from chopping up clips in Final Cut Express so don’t judge to harshly. Oh, and it was done ages ago.
Below are some images that I designed for a book I made last year. The book’s content was to cover some of the designers that we studied in the theory aspect of the module. The style I used was supposed to emulate the syle of the original artist and I think I’ve achieved that.
