I took these photos back in October during a fancy dress Halloween Ball.
My photos of The Kanyu tree who were supporting The Coronas (pics here) last night in the Olympia. Shot for GoldenPlec
I shot The Coronas for GoldenPlec last night in the Olympia Theatre. I’ve been a huge fan of these guys for years now and I fondly remember seeing them in the Spirit Store in Dundalk 4 years ago. It’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown in popularity throughout the country. More power to them!
I was so excited to be shooting these guys. They are one of my favourite bands at the moment and after living up to all the hype at their Electric Picnic set, this was going to be great!
And it was… A particular highlight was the extended version of “Pumped up Kicks”. Super gig!
Below are my photos from the night. What do you think of them?
For this shoot, the client wanted photos that could be attached to a press release to promote the play that the DkIT Performing Arts Group are doing this year. At this stage, they didn’t have costumes and a set and all that good stuff but I think that most of the photos came out really well and could be used with the press release. The client is happy with them and I think the press releases are going out shortly and I can’t wait to see them being used!
I was taking photos of Patrick Wolf in the Academy, in the incredibly soggy Dublin. It was really really great and I would have loved to be able to shoot beyond the 3 songs for this one. He started to play the harp just as we were leaving the pit and he did some costume changes later in the show. Ah well, maybe next time!
Let me know what you think!
Support from CocknBullKid. Shot for GoldenPlec.
I shot Land Lovers’ album launch for AU Magazine on Friday @ Crawdaddy, Dublin.
My photos of Squarehead and Last Days of 1984, who were supporting Land Lovers in Crawdaddy on Friday night. It’s also the first gig that I’ve shot for AU Magazine which is neat!

I shot Squeeze in Vicar St last night. I love shooting in Vicar St. It’s fast becoming my favourite venue to shoot in. From my limited experience shooting there, the stage always seems to be very nicely lit.
I took a few shots of The Flaws’ support band, The Making while I was there. Below are some of the ones I’m happy with!
